FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quite often, customers have asked questions about placing an order, cake delivery/pick up, and other common topics. I want to make the most of your time when we are working together to create your one-of-a-kind idea. So, to save you and me some time, I have put together this page of commonly asked questions…

Placing an order

To place an order, contact me and we can discuss your idea and collaborate to come up with a one-of-a-kind creation that is appealing to both the palette and the eye.

How long does it take?

Because each cake is unique and time consuming, I can only take a certain number of cakes each week. However, generally two weeks notice is enough provided the date is available. Of course, it’s always preferable to plan ahead.

  1. How much was the shoe cake on your website. I’m just curious what a cake like that would run me, but have a purse included.

    Thanking you in advance.

  2. I saw your ad on the Arts Westchester- Art Bash promo.
I am a sculptor and teacher, and although I’m not a baker, I understand and appreciate the process. (I have dabbled in sugar flowers etc.)
Semi retirement has left me with some time to investigate related careers that I’ve always found interesting.
Carmel is not far from my home and I believe I could be an asset to your business. A fast learner, I always look for the creative perspective.
    Are you hiring?
    Thanks,

  3. I left a message on your phone, but just wondering if the process of having a custom cake made, if the design is simple – like the yin-yang cake in the photo album- and the cake is small, would be able to be expedited for a birthday celebration on the 9th of August? (I just found out today, and thought something out of the ordinary might be nice.) I completely understand if you need more notice. Thanks.

  4. Cakes range any where from $4 to $9/slice, depending on the design and the amount of time it takes to make them.
If you are having a large event and book the date far enough ahead of time, we can arrange a meeting and a tasting of a few of the flavors you are interested in.
Check out our testimonials and you’ll see, we get a lot of good feed back about the flavor of our cakes.

    Thank You,

    Erin

  5. Hi-
I was just wondering how much your cakes usually cost? Also, would it be possible to do a tasting before purchasing a cake. I would hate for a cake to look beautiful on the outside, but not taste as great on the inside.

Thanks for any feedback you give.
